Guide dogs, like all dogs, need stress-reduction through exercise and play, either in a yard or outdoor park. However, for those who are visually impaired, taking their dog for a walk can cause anxiety, lead to worrying about their dogs, if they run away, if they could get injured or lost, and cause emotional distress and emptiness when owner and dog are separated.
