The context of this project was to design a portfolio website for a favourite artist. Rudi Gernreich is an Austrian-born American fashion designer whose avant-garde clothing designs are generally regarded as the most innovative and dynamic fashion of the 1960s.
Gernreich is inspiring to me and I want to use my own website design to share his design principles with the viewers. The values I focused on were sexual freedom, freeing the female body from the constraints of high fashion, and allowing the clothes to follow the natural form of the female body.
